DA can sing but would I buy his album? Nope sure wouldn't. He's just not my cup of tea! |

Yes DA did better last night *BUT* considering it's a finale, a majority might not look at last night's performances only but also all the way throughout the season so I think DC still tops it in terms of versatility. But you know, they both will sign a record deal anyway so it doesn't matter who wins.

*ahem* As you can see from my current screename, I think David A should win. I wasn't able to catch American Idol last night (because I was at the opening night of "The Color Purple" in Detroit) but from what I hear David C's performance wasn't his very best. Both David's are exceptional artist's and I wish they both could win, but their is only 1 American Idol, and in my opinion I think Archuleta should win.

Who do I WANT to win it...or who do I think is GOING to win it??
I want David Cook to win and loved his songs last night as well, but I really think that David Archuleta is going to win and I have said that since the beginning... His songs last nite, though done well, were a bit too "teen idol" and way too sugary sweet for me... If it goes the way I think it is going to, I am going to be really disappointed...again. Just like the year that Chris Daughtry should have won... |

Dial Idol.com shows that David Cook won and I pray to God the site is accurate! Even though he didn't do as well as I would have liked him to last night, I still think he totally DESERVES to win!!! He's a musical genius, is original and isn't afraid of taking risks. Also, he knows how to work a stage and can DEFINITELY entertain! As far as David Archuleta goes, I'm honestly not crazy about him. Yes, he's a nice guy and yes, he's a good singer. However, he's only good at singing ballads. He's not very smooth when it comes to performing songs that have a faster pace. His rendition of Chris Brown's, "With You," last Tuesday night is proof of this. And when he DOES sing his slow songs, I'm kinda bored. He's never made me stand up and say, "WOW" whereas David Cook has on numerous occasions.
I'm DEFINITELY anxious for the results tonight and am praying that Dial Idol is accurate!!!! |
