I haven’t looked at the new soap opera digest yet to see but why did they get rid of Stefano on Days of our Lives? I was glad he was back to shake things up a bit and then he’s in a dumb coma and now I saw on the cover he’s not on the show anymore. Any chance he’s going to come back or is he mad that he’s done with the show? thanks

Stefano will come back. He never stays away.

Stefano Is The Days of our lives Villain he had "come back" when I watched Days 14 years ago. I quit watching three years later.

All Soaps have their favorite super villain. On General Hospital its Helena Cassadine.

I'm sure other poster can name the super villain that always comes back on other soaps.

One never knows if and when Stefano will return, but I hope if he is to be off for awhile, he is shifted back over to Bold and Beautiful, where he played Massimo Marone. He said that he would be glad to return to the show, if they could write a good storyline for the character. He is too good an actor not to be somewhere!!!

Joseph Mascolo (Stefano DiMera) will not return to the show as Days Of Our Lives elected not to pick up his contract for another season. Show contacts are not at liberty to discuss actor's private contracts. They will only say, "Joe's character Stefano is still in a coma and that's where he will remain for now. I can't really comment on contracts and his status with the show."

When does he not come back. he always comes back from the dead, what makes a coma any different.
