The way it happens when I fantasize about it (I really need better fantasies!):

I'm having a miserable time at the airport--they overbooked my flight and paid me off with an upgrade to first class, where I get a seat next to Reese Witherspoon. After saying hi, I'd start talking, but tell her that if I start to bore her, she can put on her ipod and I won't think any less of her. Then hopefully we could have a fun little chat, and maybe have enough fun that I could talk her into having a drink at the airport, meeting up for something while I'm in town, or that she'd call me next time she's in my part of the country.

I didn't get much further than that with her in my mind. I guess I'm just hoping that we'd make a connection--I have no idea how we would, what she's like in real life, and didn't get much farther with this fantasy than meeting her. But that whole 'turning a bad day into a good one' seems to be how women always snare my heart.
