I just loved this performance. I love all of his performances, I think I am mildly obsessed with him, and its so weird, I don't even really like music all that much until this season with Michael Johns and David Cook. Who else LOVED this performance, and the other two, contrary to the somewhat scripted reviews the judges gave him? The Collective Soul performance was just as amazing. It is about progression, another new side of him, its like Cook is sharing his soul for us. This is one of his favorite bands and songs, I just love love love him. Actually, the second I saw him I found him extremely attractive, and his voice is very soothing as well. He doesn't look like a dork, however, Archuleta sure as heck does. And thanks for the opinions guys, and yes, Comet, its going to be a good finale! |

idk what yuor talking bout. he may be a tiny bit cute but HE REALLY SUCKS at singing. not really but he is not going to beat david a. and i hope that you no cook is to mean, he will never go ou twith you or any of his fans, thats just the way that he is. lol jkjkjkjkjk dont take that the wrong way plez!!!!!!!

I agree, he is really talanted and good looking too!
I love that he takes chances and tries different styles and doesn't always sing the same sounding songs like some other David on that show. The original song he did last night was soooo good - it could be a single! I think Simon really wants him to win and that's why he was hard on him last night. If you look at past contestants, when Simon says he likes them they go home because people either assume they are safe and don't vote or they vote against that person because they hate Simon and don't want him to be right. GO DAVID COOK!!! |

funny thing is, if he had never been on this show and you'd run into him, you wouldn't have given him the time of day. and, if he'd come up to you, you'd thought that he was some weird geek and told him to bug off. it's funny how these otherwise nobody's become overnight sex images.

I LOVED David Cook last night. He was perfect. However, David Archuletta was even better. After David C's first performance, I was ready to change my votes from David A. to David C., but then David A. blew me away. I will be happy to see either of them win it. America got it right with their final 3 this year. Each of them will have recording contracts and wonderful careers no matter who wins tonight. David A. has my votes and my heart but only by a slight margin. David C. really melted my heart with "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". I felt my heart skip a beat when he sang that. I think he is clearly a better performer than David A. but David A is the better vocalilst.

Yes, I loved David Cooks performance.
To the other comment about running into him, I would DEFINATLEY give him more time of day then if I'd ran into David A, who would have probably stumbled his words to even say Hi, I wouldn't want to scare him or anything by asking him to sing for me. Too nervous and geeky! David Cook Rocks! |
