ok last night i tried and tried hung up and rediled for cook and could not get through the whole time it was busy. a friend of mine did the same for david a. so heres my question if both peoples lines were busy the whole time wouldnt it be a tie of did the operators answer slower for one then the other? i mean if the phone rings and it goes through thats a vote but if both davids were ringing non stop the hole time how can one have more then the other. there would have to be a pause in one of them for them to get ahead. am i rite?

I am really confused by what you typed, but I do know that voting was four hours long. The first hour or so was almost impossible for me to get any votes in; After an hour in a half, I got so many votes in it was redicilious. I usually wait to the end half of the voting to get all my votes in.

Its never busy and almost always a vote.

There are 3 lines for each. The people who get through and hang up faster allow more chances for other people to get through. If you listen to more of the message, then it gives less chance for other people to get through.

I'm not really sure about THAT - do you know how many people watch American Idol around the WORLD? Millions and millions of people dial at the same time and only like a few thousands get in at a time. So the lines are busy because of the fact that everybody is calling Hollywood to take their vote for David A or David C. Don't worry, it's normal of COURSE! lol. =D ♥ ◘ ♦
