I just read a question "Are Cancers intellectually stimulating, or do you find them too moody and emotional?"...this really aggravated me. Why is it that Cancers are considered to be nothing but clingy whiners who can't get through a conversation without a Kleenex in their hand? Has anyone actually gotten to know a Cancer? We are hardly sitting there at all times drowning in our own misery and begging the person we're with not to go! People hardly ever see my emotional or "moody" side. I think we are extremely intelligent and I admire us for using our intellect to help our fellow man. We're the best listeners, and give advice from the heart. Above all else we are intuitive and know a person's weaknesses but NEVER use them against the person even when we're hurt and angry. That is a rare gift that people take for granted. Are there any other intellectual crabs out there? I managed to earn a Master's degree despite my pathetic nature. I find the ignorance stifling. Thoughts?
You'll note that this question is directed toward Cancer's exclusively....please keep that in mind before you answer. Thanks! |

I totally agree, I'm a Cancer, nd I can hold my tears in pretty well. I do get emotional occasionally, but it's usually when I'm by myself.

They're the most emotional sign, so people have a point. Plus when they are moody it's hard to have a conversation with them. They have people walking on eggs because they're too sensitive. I disagree how you said cancer's never use our weakness against us. When you hurt one, they want to snap at you their hardest. Some of them can be intellectually stimulating, and barely even emotional and moody, it depends on the rest of their chart and other factors of the person.

My eldest son is a Cancerian. He works very hard. He is has a very high IQ. The sad thing id he starts a Certificate he doesn't finish it, which upsets me being his mum. He is an Acocholic which even devastates me more. He is a caring person but on the Alcoholic he is a angry person. When he is sober I have pleaded with him to give the Acholic up.He is very much loved and very loved as a child.

i completely agree with you. cancers are bashed so much for being too emo and all that other crap. im so sick of it.

my husband is a cancer.he's into extreme sports and spent 20 years jumping out of airplanes while being shot at for a living!(army officer,airborne).hardly a whiny,clingy person.more like indiana jones!(and his hobby is exploring and archaology).whoever wrote that about cancer,needs to try to keep up with my "action man" for just one day!sun in cancer,leo rising,moon in aquarious.he also has a high i.q and a degree in psychology.

I am a cancerian...but an extroverted...upbeat kind...
Yes I am moody and when I am , I need to be left alone....but that doesnt last long, My libra rising and venus in gemini has much to say really . I am not a clingy whiner....not at all.... Sometimes I am snappy at those who keep pressing on my nerves.But there are bashers on every sign too....but I agree sometimes cancerians qualities are over looked , we are seen as emotional as if emotions are something bad.... |

I'm moody and emotional and I know it. It could be my sign Cancer and it could be that I've been dealing with the illness cancer off and on since grade school. I do feel strong, intelligent and courageous, and yes I am indeed very intuitive. I'm in high school now and sometimes the intuition overwhelms me. It's like I'm picking up on too many vibes from other people. I've more or less thrown myself into reading and studying hard in school to cope with life.
For the part about not using a person's weakness against them, my mother is also a Cancer and she goes out of her way to use people's weaknesses against them. Sometimes it makes me ashamed when she uses her ploys and manipulations. If anything, maybe this example of how the sign Cancer can be mean has taught me that I don't want to ever be like that. I do want to mention that even though I love reading and studying astrology and the planets, aspects and houses, I think it is more than just a sun sign of Cancer. For instance, my mother is Cancer sun sign and rising too. Her moon is Scorpio. |
