Hey, what do you guys think of Ellen DeGeneres getting married?? Will you continue to support her and her show or not? what do you think?

Yeah, Ellen is getting married she's engaged. I absolutly will still watch her show, gay or not she's still funny!

I like Ellen and hope she and Portia are happy. and of course I will always support her and her show. why wouldn't I? I hope every marriage is a happy one and wish every couple, straight or gay a happily ever after

Personally, I don't care if she gets married or not. I think some people might have a problem with it and I hope it doesn't hurt her success. I'll certainly continue to watch. What she does in her private life doesn't concern me.

I have no negative feelings against gays and feel they should have the same rights as others. I'm a big Ellen fan and wish her happiness in all aspects of her life.

Marriage is one of our civil rights. She should be allowed to get married just like anyone else.

Yes! If people supported her when she was living with Portia out of wedlock, I'd think they'd continue to support her when the live together in wedlock. It doesn't change who she is.

No. I wish she'd keep her show non-sexual
and not glorify the un-natural same-sex marriage. If she had married her former live-in girlfriend (Anne Heche), would they have had to get a divorce just like other marriages? Ellen reminds me of the male part of the marriage....why do women want to be like and act like a male? I also wonder if she and her wife would ever take part in those horrible, nasty "gay parades" that take place mostly in San Francisco? Why can't gays act normally...those parades definitely are not normal humans (sex in the open, wrapped in abusive chains, etc.) |

I think Ellen getting married is deplorable. No, I do not nor will ever support her. My family used to watch her old sitcom, but not after we found out she was a lesbian. I sure hope the people in Calif. that are against same-sex marriage will be able to stop that measure and clearly define marriage as only between a man and a woman. I also can't belive Ellen could find another woman that dumb as to marry her. Mabye this gal will get herself straightend out eventally like Anne Heche did.
Wow, only 2 of us are smart enough to see how wrong this is, and we get thumbs down for it. |

I will definitely support her show, even more now! I am so happy for her and Portia! I think Gay/Bi/Lesbians should have the same rights as straights, and California is so in the right direction that the rest of the states need to follow!

Ellen and Portia have been together as a couple for ages. So what difference does it make if she is married or not. And if that's what makes her happy it is okay with me. I would support her and her show either way. Her personal life is her own.

I think it's great! If it makes her happy, I'm all for it! I'll continue to watch her show; her sexuality has nothing to do with her show. It's a great show and everyone knows it. No wonder why she's won an Emmy for practically every year, if not every year she's been on!

i think ellen should do whatever she wants. she has worked hard to get to where she is. i wish her the best . i will still watch her show. i wont judge someone for what they do in their private life.
