I got an e-mail of a little British girl named Connie, age 6, singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" on a show called something like Britains So you think you've got talent . Or something like that. When was it made and did she go any farther? She was SO good she made me cry! Simon Cowell even liked her.

She came second. In first place was phone store-worker by day, opera singer by night Paul Potts.

She didn't win the competition, she did go further, but lost to the opera singer, who also was amazing by the way. Potts was his name. But she has an album, so she's trying to make a name for herself.

it was off a show called Britain has got talent . the show was on last summer . Connie brought her first CD out this Christmas witch is in the shops now hope this helped u

The cutest six year old EVER, Connie Talbot has released her debut album, Over The Rainbow.

Connie was originally offered a record deal by Simon Cowell when she competed on TV talent show, Britain’s Got Talent, however months later his company pulled out of the deal.

Connie was lucky enough to be offered another six figure recording deal, that has resulted in the release of this, her first album.

i know the little girl you are talking about! i the clip of her over the summer and she was so sweet!!!
since i live here in america, we can't watch the show-duh! LOL or can't even go on their website. darn it!!
but you can see clips on youtube all the time and sometime perezhilton.com will have clips on his site too!
we just have to keep a keen eye out!

connie talbot ,my daughter just told me .

She appeared on Britains Got Talent. A show where anyone of any age and any talent can perform. It was in June 2007.

The winners prize was to perform at The Royal Variety Show in front of the Queen.

Connie Talbot came second. After he exposure Simon Cowell recorded 2 songs with her with Sony BMG (his record label) but then decided she was too young and she was withdrawn.

But then she got a record contract. She even had an album out!! Which reached #7 in Hong Kong!

If you think she did well and she still is doing well then you should see the winner Paul Potts - an opera singer. He had a number one album in all these countries UK, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Mexico (I knew it was alot of countries so I checked wikipedia for the names)
