It was closed circuit tv of his dad jumping up and down like a lunatic, pestering him to not forget the words so he can get a lot of money when his son wins........lol. What a jerk... D C will win.

Wow...I see all the "Archie" fans are really uptight here..give it a rest it's just a damn competition show and it affects none of us personally....It's fine to have a favorite and I think the kid is talented....and will be successful whether he wins or loses...but I'm rooting for David Cook and hate to burst your bubbles Archie fans but DC is predicted as the winner on DialIdol.com....but we will all see tonight if this is the case for sure.....good luck to both of them...

As for the gasping, well he is a teenager after all, not an adult like Cook. Give he kid a break, these are after all the most impressionable years of his life. |

Yes, there was a teleprompter. I recorded the show and paused at the moments I saw the teleprompter to verify that the words to the songs were in fact on the screen. Both contestants used it. Too bad they didn't have that for Brook and Jason!

people are being way too immature/defensive about this
people even dismiss it before they do their research I thought I noticed the prompter during Archie's second song and since I was DVRing it for the ball and chain, I planned on going back to check then I saw it again in his third song. if you go back and watch during song number 2....and if you can pause it you can clearly see the words that he's singing at that exact moment I forget what line it was, but the first two words are "no one" it was a teleprompter.....with the lyrics and anybody who says otherwise is either too biased to care about the truth, or blind. |
