Who did you vote for from the final two??
I SO would have voted for Archuletta!! But I wasn't feeling well and, while they were saying which numbers to use, I MISSED IT. Ugh! I like them both. But I LOVE how sensitive and teary-eyed Archuletta gets when he gets praise, and when he sees his fans, etc.! I would love to see his excitement if he wins. It's adorable and I feel SO happy for him!!!! PLUS, he ROCKED last night!! OMG! He was one of the most enjoyable to watch contestants, EVER. I felt that Cook last night, while I REALLY like him a ton, was a bit predictable in his rock and roll sounds... awww, if this is a snapshot of America and most people voted like you guys, then Cook won.  I totally disagree that "anyone" can see that Archuletta is fake. Give the guy a break! He is performing for millions of people, and he is so young. Did you SEE his fan base back home? There is NO way that his tears are fake! ANYONE would be overwhelmed!! They chose the idol already, Cook. ANd I was still glad. They both rock!  ) I loved to see him really happy, too! |

You think his facial expressions are cute? I thought they looked fake, especially last night. He was trying to make it look like he was fighting back tears, but instead it made his face look as if he had gas or something.
Don't get me wrong, the boy can sing! But, there's something so fake about him that turns me off to the idea of listening to his music. Not to mention, he only sings ballads... who is going to want to buy an entire album of his ballads? Oh, and I didn't vote last night. (Let me have it, thumbs down fairies.) |

hes the American Idol winner of 08...hands down... Archuletta is good but Cook is better.... |

I am a huge David Cook fan, but I do have to say the David A came to win last night! His singing was flawless! I do think that David C. has a better stage presence then David A......I think he also looks like he has gas a majority of the time!
I think either way they will both get record deals! |

I didn't vote, reason being the judges favored Archuletta. He wasn't as good as Cook in the first round, but they said he was the best in every round. Archuletta is a balladeer he looks stupid when he tries to sing an upbeat song, that's why he sung all ballads last night. Don't know if anyone noticed Cook's expression at the end, he looked really sad.

I honestly like both of them, so i couldnt vote. I didnt know who to vote for. I dont think David A was pulling of the whole "im gonna fake that im hiding tears" he just looked extremelly tired to me. Like he had been up all night the night before, and David C always does a good job. I liked how he tear'd up a bit after he performed. I will buy both of their albums when they come out, so who ever wins, ill be happy.

I haven't voted since Season 2 (Clay vs. Ruben) but I would have voted for David Cook if I thought it would make a difference. AI is going to choose who they want to win anyway.

Cook. Archuletas sensativity is fake. duh. Anyone can see that he's full of it. and he isnt even that great. he has a good voice, so does david cook. but on top of having a great voice, david cook is a performer and he is musically multi-faceted. he can perform different styles of music and he can play an instrument. hes the full package.

I voted for David Cook over 320 times. I did my best to make sure that I beat out David Archuleta's fans who are 12-year-old girls. I'm not saying that ALL of his fans are 12-year-old girls, but a huge portion of his fan base consists of young females.
Now, Dial Idol.com shows that David Cook won and I pray to God the site is accurate! Even though he didn't do as well as I would have liked him to last night, I still think he totally DESERVES to win!!! He's a musical genius, is original and isn't afraid of taking risks. Also, he knows how to work a stage and can DEFINITELY entertain! As far as David Archuleta goes, I'm honestly not crazy about him. Yes, he's a nice guy and yes, he's a good singer. However, he's only good at singing ballads. He's not very smooth when it comes to performing songs that have a faster pace. His rendition of Chris Brown's, "With You," last Tuesday night is proof of this. And when he DOES sing his slow songs, I'm kinda bored. He's never made me stand up and say, "WOW" whereas David Cook has on numerous occasions. I'm DEFINITELY anxious for the results tonight and am praying that Dial Idol is accurate!!!! |
